Carpinus orientalis yamadori collecting

Inland, it is still very cold. But at the seaside it is possible to dig trees in T-shirts. So if you cannot stand waiting for the warmer weather on the continent, one can go on the coast where some wonderful yamadori or prebonsai species can be found. Carpinus orientalis is one of the best!!! Collecting season has started, we have so much work to do...!!!Some of our new material...
Carpinus orientalis naturally grows in clump or raft style, and I think that can be used to the advantage of creating beautiful, natural, spontaneous bonsai. Raft and clump are some of my favourite styles. And Carpinus orientalis, bark and leaves colour and ramification is second to none.
